SUNSET SHORES GUEST RENTAL RULES

CHECKING-IN: Please report any deficiencies pertaining to cleanliness of unit or condition of any appliance, furnishing or fixture to office staff upon arrival so the problem can be remedied. Likewise, please report if anything is damaged or broken during your stay.

CHECKING-OUT: Check-out time is 10:00am. To avoid cleaning charges in excess of your prepaid departure cleaning fee, the unit should look exactly as it did at check-in time (no food in fridge, no dirty dishes in sink, no trash left behind).

KEY RETURN: Return all keys and gate card to the office. If office is closed drop keys and
gate card thru mail slot located to left of office door. Lost key charges are as follows:
unit, pool, laundry and mail box keys $25.00 each; parking gate card $50.

FURNISHINGS/PERSONAL PROPERTY: Do not rearrange or remove furniture or other items in unit. Do not affix pictures or other items on walls.

QUIET TIME: Condominium living requires each resident and guest to respect the needs and rights of others. Quiet time is between 10:00pm and 8:00am. During quite hours, unnecessary noise and large social gatherings in common areas are not permitted.

ANIMALS: Pets are prohibited in any unit except when the homeowner is present. Service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcome.

NO SMOKING: This is a smoke free property and all units are non-smoking. Security deposit will be forfeited if smoking occurs anywhere at anytime.

LAUNDRY: Laundry room hours are from 9:00am to 10:00pm daily.

POOL/SPA: Pool and spa hours are from 9:00am to 9:00pm. Children under age 14 must be accompanied by an adult and no one under age 12 is allowed in the spa. Infants and toddlers must wear waterproof swim diapers. THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY SO FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY PLEASE OBEY ALL RULES POSTED IN POOL/SPA AREA.

BARBEQUES: Those who barbeque must ensure safe use and complete clean-up including brushing the grill to remove food debris. When done, please make sure the grill is safe to leave unattended. PERSONAL CHARCOAL OR PROPANE BARBEQUES AND SMOKER DEVICES ARE NOT PERMITTED AND CANNOT BE USED.

BALCONIES: Balconies may not be used for storage and no clothes, bedding, laundry or towels may be hung from balcony railings.

USE OF PARKING LOT: There is one parking space per unit. Only cars, pick-up trucks and motorcycles are permitted in parking lot. Trailers, boats and campers are prohibited. Bicycles must be parked in bikes racks, not in courtyard areas. No car washing or repairs.

WARNING: Street sweeping occurs on Tuesdays from 9:00am to 11:00am. Cars parked on Sandyland Road during this time will be ticketed by the City of Carpinteria.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES: Recreational activities of any sort in stairways, entryways, walkways or parking lot are not allowed. Use of any type of recreational device, such as bicycles, tricycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, roller skates, etc. is not allowed in the common areas. Do not climb or jump over walls or fencing or swing on gate.
